  1. Trip to the Movies
    1. You and your friends/family attend a movie at a local movie theater. We recommend the Galaxy Theaters in Atascadero however you can choose any theater that will accommodate our UCP members. UCP will provide transportation and if necessary and available, a volunteer support staff.
      1. $25 for movie and concessions or $40 with an added (both includes movie ticket and transportation)
  2. Boomers
    1. Located in Santa Maria, Boomers is a family fun center that features an arcade, batting cages, go karts, kids go karts, a climbing wall and bumper boats. UCP will provide transportation and if necessary and available, a volunteer support staff.
      1. $60 (includes lunch, ticket cost, and transportation)
  3. Oceano Melodrama
    1. Located in Oceano, the Melodrama is a UCP member favorite. The melodrama features numerous shows put on by local actors and actresses and is a great time for all attending. UCP will provide transportation and if necessary and available, a volunteer support staff.
      1. $40 (includes ticket cost and transportation). We recommend bringing an additional $10 for any concessions.
  4. Montana de Oro
    1. Enjoy a scenic hike along the ocean bluffs and summits along the Los Osos coastline. There are different trail options to suit any hiker. Be sure to bring water.

  5. Morro Bay Lunch and Shopping
    1. Spend the afternoon along the Morro Bay Embarcadero shopping until you drop. Fuel up with lunch at your favorite lunch spot and enjoy watching the sea otters in the bay.
      1. $26 (includes lunch and transportation) – please bring extra shopping money.
  6. Hearst Castle
    1. Visit the historic estate in San Simeon and take a tour of the Grand Rooms. For other tour options, please call UCP.
      1. $40 (includes ticket cost and transportation).
  7. Cayucos Lunch and Shopping
    1. Enjoy lunch and shopping in downtown Cayucos. With a variety of boutiques and antique shops, you’ll be sure to find something that suits your style.

  8. Avila Barn – (SEASONAL – Spring, Summer and Fall months)
    1. Spend the afternoon at Avila Valley Barn! Take a ride on the hayride (May–November), pick out your holiday pumpkin (September-November), get lost in the hay maze in October, or enjoy the Christmas spirit in December. Enjoy lunch at Avila Valley Barn’s Deli and browse their market for the freshest fruit and vegetables.

  9. Scarecrow Tour in Cambria (SEASONAL – October 1st – October 31st)
    1. It’s a scarecrow takeover! Visit downtown Cambria and take pictures of the creative scarecrows everywhere and enjoy lunch at your favorite restaurant. Don’t forget to vote for your favorite scarecrow.
      1. $26 (includes lunch and transportation) – please bring extra shopping money.
  10. Sensorio in Paso Robles (TEMPORARY – no specific end date announced but Sensorio will end at some point)
    1. This evening display in Paso Robles will light up your evening with colorful light displays. Walk through the Field of Light and Light Towers illuminated with glowing optic fibers that change to music.
      1. $50 (includes ticket cost and transportation) – please bring extra money for any food and drinks.
  11. SLO Blues Game (SEASONAL – June 11th – August 6th)
    1. Cheer on our local Baseball team; the SLO Blues! Enjoy the game with extra prizes and games in between the innings. Be sure to wear sunscreen and bring your favorite hat.
      1. $25 (includes ticket cost, snack, and transportation)
  12. Mustang Water Slides (SEASONAL – Summer months)
    1. Located in the hills of Arroyo Grande, the Mustang Water Slides are an awesome and fun adventure for all. UCP will provide transportation and if necessary and available, a volunteer support staff.
