Hospital Services/Dental Medical Setting: A child life specialist is available on-call to enhance treatment for children in SLO Hospitals and medical facilities.

Child Life Education in Schools: A Child Life Specialist can visit your school to talk about various medical treatments to help reduce students' fears.

Trainings for Medical Staff: Child Life Specialists will provide inservice training on using play therapy, communication skills with children, and stress reduction techniques.
